As an important part of the Kentucky Baptist Convention's
More for Christ emphasis,
Children Changing the World is an opportunity for the children of your church to lead the way in supporting missions through the Cooperative Program.
The plan is simple.
- Enlist the children of your church to collect change for missions for a period of time set by your church.
- Explain the importance of supporting world missions through the Cooperative Program with your church and the children.
- Encourage children to share what they learn with the adults of your church.
- Celebrate the total raised by the children during their Children Changing the World campaign.
- Affirm the children and what they are doing to support missions around the world.
Your children will be excited about their part in the Great Commission and will lead the way in your church to increase Cooperative Program awareness and dollars given.
Special materials to teach the children about the Cooperative Program have been developed that can be used in missions groups, Sunday School classes, and other settings. Some of these materials are available for download here:
Children Changing the World is an important part of the More for Christ emphasis in Kentucky churches. The emphasis also includes a challenge for the entire church called “
Three More for Christ,” and a special challenge for youth called “
