Week of Prayer for International Missions and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

About the Offering:

In 1888, WMU founded the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. $3,135.26 was given that year-enough money to send three women to China.

The International Mission Board derives its budget income from both of the Cooperative Program and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, plus the world hunger and relief offerings, investment income and designated gifts. Through the Cooperative Program, Southern Baptist churches provide vital year-round support to missions at home and around the world.

WMU continues to raise awareness and funds for international missions through the annual Week of Prayer for International Missions and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Kentucky WMU is responsible for distributing emphasis materials to Kentucky Baptist churches.

If you need offering envelopes, prayer guides/bulletin inserts, or posters, please contact us or complete an online order form.
