Kentucky Teen Advisory PanelThe Kentucky Teen Advisory Panel is made up of teens from across the state committed to promoting missions and missions education.Teen Panel Applicants:-Must be a Christian and an active member of a Kentucky Baptist Convention church.
-Must be at least 14 years of age and in the ninth grade or above by August 1, 2013.
-Must be a member of an Acteens, Challengers or Youth On Mission organization and remain active throughout his or her year of service.
-Must have additional involvement in one of the following options:
+served either on an Acteens Activator Team or Youth on Mission Point Team or youth mission trip
+help in a WMU organization (GA, Mission Friends, Children in Action, RA’s)
+participate/lead in an ongoing Acteens/Challengers/Youth on Mission Ministry Project
-Must be able to attend the following meetings:
(Provide own transportation to all meetings; Kentucky WMU will provide lodging and meals.)
+Panelist Retreat
+Exalt and 4:GO – 2014; Location TBA
Responsibilities of the Panel include:-Help to plan and execute Exalt and 4:GO.
-Attend the Panelist Retreat usually held in the late summer or fall.
-If possible, be a page for the Kentucky WMU Annual Meeting. This is not a requirement, but Panelists are asked to attend if at all possible.
-Promote Acteens, Challengers and Youth on Mission throughout the state as requested by the Kentucky WMU Student consultants.
