Heritage Fund

Since 1888, Woman's Missioanry Union has supported efforts to fulfill the Great Commission around the world. Through teaching, giving, and personal involvement in ministry. WMU has influenced the missions commitment of churches and individuals.

Recent studies show that churches with WMU give more to missions through the Cooperative Program and missions offerings. Churches with WMU age-level organizations for children have more baptisms of children in grades 1-6. Churches with WMU send missions volunteers and involve people in local ministries. WMU provides a framework for fulfilling the Great Commission.

The Kentucky WMU Heritage Fund is a permanent endowment for the purpose of developing, promoting, strengthening and sustaining the work of Kentucky WMU. The earnings of this endowment fund are used by Kentucky WMU for our vital work in missions education. You can leave a living legacy through your support of the Kentucky WMU through the Heritage Fund.

Use of Heritage Fund earnings is governed by the Development Committee of Kentucky WMU. Distributions from the Heritage Fund have most recently provided training materials for associational WMU leaders, resources for new WMU organizations, materials to encourage WMU growth, and our annual event for Hispanic women.
