Camp Joy & Mammoth Cave

July 7-8, 2017

Girls in Action in grades 3-6 and their leaders* will explore the wonder of God’s creation and missions at Camp Joy and Mammoth Cave! Registration begins at Camp Joy at 3:00 pm on Friday.

Camp Joy is located at Main Cross Street off Washington Street in Brownsville, Kentucky. Camp Joy has 2 room suites that hold 8 people. Each suite has a shower, sink and toilet in the center of the suite.

Friday evening activities include swimming, dinner, camp fire worship, crafts and game time.

On Saturday, we will eat breakfast at Camp Joy, then head to Mammoth Cave for some exploring and missions learning. We will eat our lunch at a picnic pavilion. Camp Joy will provide our lunch.

Due to the amount of walking and climbing stairs, participants need to be in very good health.

*Kentucky WMU requires church chaperones for each of its children’s events. These chaperones must complete a background check conducted by their church. They must be 21 year of age or older and be a good role model for children. Each church must complete an Acknowledgement and Assurance Form and send it to Kentucky WMU. This form assures Kentucky WMU that your church has conducted background checks on each chaperone.
